MELISSA BENSON Melissa has been a Pound Puppies N' Kittens volunteer for over a year. Her love for animals big and small and her dedication in making a difference in the life of a homeless animal is truly amazing. Melissa is involved in many aspects of our organization. She spends most Saturdays cleaning cat cages at a local PetSmart and has recently taken on the task of training all new volunteers, as well as taking care of many of the PetSmart cat adoptions. She is also active in volunteering at special events, and was a huge help during the preparations for our Connecticut transport trip last summer. Melissa is always willing to help in any way that she can. She is a true example of a dedicated, loving volunteer!
